Butler Township Not Publicly Announcing Meeting Codes

Butler Township is not publicly announcing the meeting codes for upcoming meetings because of the many incidents of “Zoom bombing” that have been occurring. A quick Google search will reveal the many examples of this issue. If you obtain the meeting credentials, we invite you to share with other residents and taxpayers who plan to participate in the meeting.  We do ask that you do not post them on any public platform or social media, which would allow the information to be widely disseminated. Unwanted invitees use the credentials to access meetings and post unwanted ads that interrupt the meeting, or, even worse, post offensive and obscene videos.  Thank you.

Butler Township Rules and Regulations Regarding Conduct of Public meetings Via Telemeetings

• Contact the Township Secretary, preferably, by email (butlertwp@comcast.net) or you may phone (717-677-6712) for the access information, no later than 1/2 hour prior to the start of the meeting.
• Public comment can be submitted in advance by the same contact information above.
